Keto Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese Recipe

This filling cheesy sauce recipe is a wonderful go to for a quick and easy side to all manner of dishes. You can even use it as a warm and comforting main meal on its own.

I also have this on its own as a lunch. It keeps any hunger at bay for many hours when in keto. Plus it is creamy and delicious.

Keto Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese Recipe

This filling broccoli and cauliflower cheese sauce recipe is a wonderful go to for a quick and easy side to all manner of dishes.


  • A Broccoli Head

  • A Cauliflower Head

  • 200 g Full Fat Soft Cheese

  • 225 g Full Fat Mature Cheddar Cheese

  • 300 ml Full Fat Double Cream

  • 1 tsp English Mustard


  • Prep the veg
  • Prep the cauliflower and broccoli by cutting off the florets and rinsing.
  • Boil the broccoli and cauliflower in a saucepan until tender but not too soft. Just to take the hardness away.
  • Thoroughly drain the broccoli and cauliflower and place in a baking dish.
  • Prepare the sauce
  • In a saucepan on a medium heat place the double cream, soft cheese and then the grated cheese with a teaspoon of mustard and seasoning. (reserve a little of the grated cheese)
  • Combine the ingredients together by melting. Be careful not to let it get to boil. Stir continuously until it has combined to a creamy sauce throughout.
  • Pour the sauce over the broccoli and cauliflower in the baking dish.
  • Finish off preparation
  • Sprinkle the set aside grated cheese on top and now ready to bake.
  • Cooking
  • Place the completed dish into the oven at 180 degrees for around 25 minutes, until bubbling and the cheese on top has browned.
  • The dish is now ready to serve and best eaten hot.


  • You can add or subtract from the cheese for personal taste
