What to Expect on the Day

The Route:

Starting from the village of Malham we make our way through meadows and woodland leading us to the picturesque Janets Foss. This that wish may want to take a wild swim here.

Then we head into Gordale Scar as it gets narrower we come upon the waterfall. Yes, to go further we need to climb up it. You will be guided and all will help to safely navigate this. You will love the experience.

From the top of the waterfall we have the only real uphill of the walk as we climb up onto the tops before heading along to Malham Tarn, by the waterside of this great lake.

We have more wonders to come as we walk down an ancient dry valley that leads us out perfectly on top of Malham Cove itself.

After photos and wonder, we head down the steps and back to Malham for refreshments.
