Join us on a 6 day BaldHiker adventure in Italy. A trip of variety through authentic Italy Away from tourism. Immerse yourself with us in the medieval town of Amandola were we discover the history, life, the mountains, the food and the people.

A chance to take in an area close to our hearts that we love to visit time and again. This time we get to share with all who attend this retreat with us.

We will be taking you on a journey into the heart of the paradise that is Le Marche, a region in central Italy known for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and delicious cuisine. It’s a hidden gem with rolling hills, mountains and charming medieval towns.

From our base in the wonderful town of Amandola we will be taking in a huge variety of activities from gentle walks in the splendid Sibillini Mountains to history and culture trails in the landscapes and towns. We cannot visit this part of Italy and not be immersing ourselves in the food.

However, transfers will be included from Rome Ciampino Airport. Meeting at a set time on the start day.
Best airport – Rome Ciampino arrival am or day before.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival. Travel across and through the mountains to Amandola, discover the ancient town.
Day 2: AM – Discover the history and people of Amandola. PM – Swim and relax at Lago di Fiastra.
Day 3: AM – A chance to climb a Sibillini Mountain or Art session optional.
Day 3: PM – Dinner above the land.
Day 4: A day on the stunning coast and beaches of Le Marche.
Day 5: AM – Truffel Hunting Experience. PM – A Walk of Waterfalls.
Day 6: Transport back to Ciampino and goodbyes.

We shall be fully embracing the essence of Le Marche.

  • Baldhiker Retreats are a real “pick me up”

    I haven’t felt that relaxed calm and comfortable in a very long time. I feel these baldhiker retreats are a real “pick me up” for anyone suffering from mental health problems. The guided walks with all the history and interesting facts take your mind off daily life. They’re are also opportunities to take part in other activities such as wild swimming with Zoe.
