Over to the East of Cyprus sits the resort of Ayia Napa. To many known as a place of party but as soon as you get out of the centre a whole new paradise opens up. Sandy beaches, rocky outcrops with blue water and sky as far as the eye can see. For gentle calming walks there are few better places. Or for the avid hiker this gorgeous stretch of coast keeps on going with its beauty. The views are endless and I can assure you that you won’t be rushed as much is too good to ignore.
At the cliff bottoms you can find hidden sandy beaches or caves you can sit in and watch the clear waters lap up on the rocks. Natural stone bridges and arches reaching into the sea and flowers of many colours aligning the pathway. Every now and then you come across little coves that can only be described as paradise.
In upcoming posts I will be showing some of the wonderful hiking trails of the Cyprus mountains but I am so glad I wandered the treasures of this coast. It was a perfect and thrilling wind down.
Hi Paul,I love your photos and the way you show the beauty of Cyprus is very good. Keep up the good work.

Hi, just wondering if you could give me a name of the stretch of coast where these photos were taken, or the direction from central Ayia Napa as im going on a ‘party holiday’ but want to explore around the nature as well!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous photos Paul! I’m amazed at how beautiful Cyprus is, especially with your posts shedding some light on it!
