The Road Ahead: The Oregon Trail #RoadTripUSA

It is time to get back on the road, and what a road it will be…. Fly out tomorrow, to USA and from 15 to 23 May will be travelling along the Oregon Trail!

In the 1800s, American pioneers headed west, over 2000 miles, to new future. I will be following their direction, learning how, why and where and what they would have seen.. and you can follow me here with the blog updates or follow me live on: Twitter, FB, Google Plus or Instagram or follow the hashtag #RoadTripUSA

Following the way of the old wagon roads from Missouri then through Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho then onto Portland in Oregon. Over 2000 miles taking in landscapes, dramatic rock formations, great cities, historic landmarks and buildings… that is just for starters. The early settlers left traces behind and I shall be showing a lot of it, why the ruts of the wagon trails can still be seen in places too.
