Charity and travel. 2 subjects very close to my heart. I also like to smile, so how about this for a flight with a difference! A flight all about charity and laughs. Comic Relief and Red Nose Day has teamed up with British Airways to go for the Guinness World Record for the ‘Highest Stand-Up Comedy Gig in the World’. Proceeds going towards ‘Flying Start’, hoping to transform the lives of disadvantaged children at home in the UK and abroad.
Now then normally when I go off on my travels the flight can entail reading a book, the carriers magazine, listening to the ipod, chit chat or sleep. But what this flight has for entertainment is two and a half hours stand-up comedy from non other than Dara O’Briain, Jack Whitehall and Jon Richardson. Totally novel venue for travellers and the comedians alike. Do you want to be up there in the 75 strong audience flying over the UK, taking on a whole load of refreshments, sipping champagne and helping charity in the process? I know I will be having a go.
