Canada – Pumping Adrenalin And Speed On The Calgary Zipline

photo2

After a relaxing day paddling down to Saskatoon it was time to land in Calgary. And it was time to go straight into some adrenalin inducing action. Flying down North America’s fastest Zipline. From the top of Calgary’s highest lookout. The top of Canada Olympic Park Ski Jump, they have made some cabling to enable this great bit of fun adventure.

As you stand at the top, harnesses on, the stats are written on the sign – Over 500 metres long, over 100 metres vertical drop, travelling at speeds of between 120 and 140 km/hour.

Here is the short clip of my descent.. Yelps n all :D

It was a total blast! Speed, sun, fresh air, totally different, even for ziplining :)

If you keep your eyes open its not just the drop to see, the views of Calgary downtown one way and you see the Rockies another.. Tip Top :D

So brave – I get a little dizzy just looking down! LOL

    This is awesome!
We stopped in to do this, but only had time for the bobsled, which was equally as crazy!
